For users over 175 cm, the blanket may not fully cover the feet.
Please note: The sizing dimensions of each blanket is the area of the entire blanket, this is including the neck hole.

How to Safely Use Our Mimi Wheelchair Blankets
- Secure the blanket: Ensure the blanket is properly fastened using the provided straps or fasteners to keep it in place and prevent it from slipping into the wheels.
- Keep blanket opening clear from headrest: Do not fit blanket head opening over the headrest of a wheelchair user as this can result in risk of choking. Place the back of the blanket between head and headrest.
- Avoid excess length: Use a blanket size appropriate for the wheelchair to avoid excess fabric that could drag on the ground or get caught in moving parts. Refer to our size guide in our FAQs.
- Keep wheels clear: Make sure the blanket does not cover or interfere with the wheels, brakes, or footrests of the wheelchair.
- Avoid obstructions: Ensure the blanket is worn as intended and does not obstruct the user's vision, breathing, or movement.
- Supervise use: Always supervise the use of blankets for babies or individuals with limited mobility to ensure they are worn safely.
- Only fit head into blanket opening: Only fit head into the blanket opening and ensure there is plenty of room around the neck.
- Check for proper fit: Adjust the blanket snugly around the user for comfort and warmth without restricting movement or circulation.
- Monitor temperature: Regularly check the user’s comfort level to ensure they are not too hot or cold, especially in changing weather conditions.
- Inspect regularly: Periodically check the blanket for signs of wear, such as fraying edges or loose fasteners, and replace if necessary.
- Avoid covering controls: Ensure the blanket does not block access to wheelchair controls or electronic devices.
- Follow care instructions: Follow the manufacturer's guidelines for cleaning and maintenance to ensure the fabric remains in safe, optimal condition.
- Avoid proximity to heat sources: Keep the blanket away from open flames, heaters, or any high-temperature sources to reduce any risk of catching fire or melting.
- Supervise in high-risk areas: Always supervise the use of the blanket in environments where fire hazards are present, such as near candles or stoves.
- Ensure safe use with mobility aids: Make sure the blanket is securely fastened to the wheelchair, stroller, or other mobility aids to prevent it from dragging or coming into contact with hot surfaces.

- Supervise use: Always supervise the use of bibs or scarves, especially for babies or individuals with limited mobility, to ensure they are worn safely.
